Monday morning I woke up to the most wonderful surprise in Pokémon Sleep—an Absol! I went to Snowdrop Tundra with a pretty weak team just for the chance to see Absol and I'm so thrilled I got to saw one AND catch it (lots of great biscuits)! This week I'm on Greengrass Isle just for the change of pace but I'll be returning to Snowdrop... hoping I can grab some candies for my Absol and Eeveelutions 💞

Speaking of snow, the Snow Dot species released in Livly Island and I'm pleased to say I now have two little fawns trotting around my island, though I'll probably be tempted to change one into the reindeer looking species that comes out later this month... But anyway they are SOOOOOO cute and I'm glad I was able to get the specific tree so I can make more in the future! Tested my luck by drawing for the Volf's tree too and successfully nabbed that so I'm officially all good on my two favorite Livly species. I'd show ingame pictures but it'd reveal what my mascot / persona looks like and I want to make a drawing first!

I started playing Pokémon Café ReMix since my last entry and while I'm not the most skillful, I've been having fun! Yesterday I even got lucky and got Little Star Celebi with free delivery!! I'm also proud that I finished some art too⭐ Since there shouldn't be rain tomorrow morning, I think I'll scurry out to a bakery and get a croissant to take back. Afterwards I'll be honing in on outfit designing and working on my next illustrations.

Okay so I was definitely supposed to post ten times more than I have this year but I guess finding my groove now instead of not at all is better…! I just really want to create and work on art seriously. Over the summer I bought myself a desk with a lot more table space and some shelving to display cute things; it has been so nice that I can lay my sketchbook flat in front of my laptop as I couldn’t do before (I use a laptop stand but I usually tuck my diary and planner under it).

Next on my art agenda is pretty much to consistently draw, then make stickers and maybe open commissions? I often only complete half of Clove’s outfit so I can’t whip up a chibi/SD until that’s ironed out… which usually takes me fully illustrating the design. So I’d like to focus on that first!

Entertainment wise, I got into Gundam and there are so many series within it I have to get to! My favorite characters thus far have been Sayla and Fa. Watching some of the Ghibli Fest movies has also been lovely, especially with kettle popcorn!! I’ve been playing Pokemon again too and have been mindlessly wasting time trying to get a shiny Eevee… but I need to finish up Fantasy Life before the switch title comes out + get started on other JRPGs in my collection (will likely start with Metaphor: ReFantazio).

Been a while since my last update... The cakes were nice but I grew disinterested within like three weeks—I can say the honey and banana flavors were my favorite though! Struggled with juggling IRL for a while but I'm going to try and work on art these next few days!!

This is quite random but I recently sourced out as many MUJI baumkuchen flavors as I could with the intention of trying each one. My mind trails off a lot at work and then I latch onto silly ideas like this ⭐ Today I tried Strawberry Baumkuchen with Icing (アイシングがけいちご) with a cup of earl grey, which I was very pleased with. I've decided to only have a half at a time (cost-effective measure) so I'm looking forward to savoring it again tomorrow!🍓

Beyond baumkuchen I'll be trying more snacks that interest me. And teas! I like going to cafes but it gets pricey so it's for the best I can prepare a little home cafe treat for myself on some days. My schedule's been busy but after this week it will be better again...

I had a friend recommend it to me a while back but I only got around to playing it last month, just before I went on vacation for a week. It is SOOOOOOO cute and fun to play—I'm ecstatic that there's going to be a Nintendo Switch title released in October! My calendar has been marked and I will be playing!!!!

I love making my characters when I'm able to and I used Clove for Fantasy Life! This is what she looked like in the beginning but I accidentally took this screenshot with her eyes closed...

Reached the Master rank for the Tailor Life first but this was from the Hunter party! This outfit is haphazard as I wanted the stats but I'll eventually find a neater look.

Regarding sticker designs... heheh... I think all I did were some sketches but I'm going to focus on illustrations first as I went through a slow period and want to get back into the groove! Walking for at least an hour a day (gotta dispel energy) + sleeping and waking up at consistent times helps a whole lot with my life.

Okay so there were multiple times since the last update in which I was going to write a blog post... and then time slipped away. It snowed, which was pretty and I snapped a few photos. Got to be reunited with jianbing and made-from-scratch sweet soy milk too!

This month I guess I need to buckle down and do those Clove sticker designs. I want them to be relevant to some of his staple outfits so I'll be drawing some fresh illustrations too. Unfortunately I've been a little under the weather this week (may or may not be slightly allergic to something) but I'm trying to make some use of my time at home. Stay tuned for Dungeon Meshi fanart very soon (Marcille and Falin are my favorite)!
